Faced with no good options after starting a disastrous war against Iran, Trump is choosing the least worst one for himself and the USA and trying to stop the US economy imploding under inflation, high interest rates, dollar collapse by ending the war with Iran and reopening the Strait of Hormz.

Ben Gvir does not seem to understand the reality of the global chessboard in 2026 or what makes a country powerful. Gvir does not seem to understand economics, finance, trade patters and the military industrial complex. If he did, he would realize the USA is in danger of sinking to 5th world status because of its massive overeztension, censorship and corruption.
It is an empire now in decline.
Gvir seems to think Trump has options on the table. The only option Trump has is to go down with Israel or try to save himself and the USA and he and JD Vance have wisely decided to try to save themselves by making a quick dal with Iran before it is too late.
For Gvir to say Israel must continue with its plan to wipe out Lebanon is like a chess player with only a king and two pawns in the middle of the board telling their opponent who has two bishops, castles, queen and 4 pawns they have to resign.
The USA s power is now so depleted, it cannot win Israel s wars for it and may not be able to prevent a total economic collapse.
Eiter Israel makes a quick peace or it will face the backlash from its aggression, genocies and fanatical racits and beastial ideogues like Gvir alone. That will spell the end of Israel as the racist,f ascist state it has become under Netanyahu and Gvir and the end of their leaders.
