A spokesperson for Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has responded to lurid allegations contained in the latest Epstein files – including that he caught a sexually-transmitted disease – calling them "absolutely absurd and completely false".
Two emails from 18 July 2013 appear to have been drafted by Epstein but it is unclear if they were ever sent to Gates. Both were sent from Epstein's email account and back to the same account, while no email account associated with Gates is visible and both emails are unsigned.
One email is written as a resignation letter from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and complains about having had to procure medicine for Gates "to deal with the consequences of sex with Russian girls".
The other, which begins "dear Bill", complains about Gates having ended a friendship and makes more claims about Gates having tried to cover up a sexually transmitted infection, including from his then-wife, Melinda.
A spokesperson for Gates told the BBC: "These claims – from a proven, disgruntled liar – are absolutely absurd and completely false."
They added: "The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein's frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame."

Keir Starmer has said Andrew Mounbatten-Windsor should testify before the US Congress about his links to the late child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Journalists asked the prime minister, who is in Japan for a meeting with its PM, Sanae Takaichi, if the former prince should apologise to the disgraced financier’s victims and give evidence about what he knew of his crimes.
Mounbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of his titles last year amid the fallout from his friendship with the billionaire, features heavily in the latest tranche of Epstein files, released on Friday by the US justice department.
The king’s brother appears to be pictured crouching over a woman who is lying on the floor. The cache of documents also includes emails which indicate Mountbatten-Windsor invited Epstein to Buckingham Palace in September 2010, two years after Epstein was convicted of soliciting girls as young as 14 for sex.
Last year Suhas Subramanyam, a Democratic member of the oversight committee in the House of Representatives, asked Mountbatten-Windsor to sit for a deposition as part of its investigation into how the US government handled the case against Epstein.
Subramanyam said Mountbatten-Windsor “has been hiding from us, and I think he will continue to try to hide from people doing meaningful investigations of this matter”.
Speaking after the release of the latest Epstein files, Starmer said: “Firstly, I have always approached this question with the victims of Epstein in mind. Epstein’s victims have to be the first priority. As for whether there should be an apology, that’s a matter for Andrew.
“But yes, in terms of testifying, I have always said anybody who has got information should be prepared to share that information in whatever form they are asked to do that. You can’t be victim-centred if you’re not prepared to do that.”

Be careful with such interpretations, warned Mr Czin, who is now a senior fellow at the Washington-based Brookings Institute think tank.

Very interesting clash of characters and view points between Steve Bannon and Jeff Epstein in an interview just before Epstein was arrested and murdered, likely with the approval of Bannon and Trump in 2019.
The difference in character between the two men is very clear in the interview.
The murder of Epstein by Trump and Gates in 2019 and the rise of Bannon inside the Globalist s elite system may explain their increasngingly catastrophic miscalculations and mindless aggression.
Bannon displays a way of thinking which is characterised by dogma, ideological stasis, rigidlity. He seems to have a naive belief in mathematics and science as offering "the absolute truth".
He seems to misread Epstein, who is a dynamic thinker, as prevaricating and ignorant.
For, Epstein does recognize that acquiring knowledge as a process, which never stops. He is not afraid to admit he does not know things. Amazingly enough,Epstein did not understand how the fractional reserve banking system worked. He says most politicians and even Wall Street financiers do not understnad it.
Ineed, Epstein is ready to keep re thinking old certainties, re evaluating ideas he thought were the abolute truths. He recognizes knowledge is, in fact, a process which requires us to be creative, active and criticial. There are so many things we do not know. We need to keep seaching.
By contrast, Bannon seems to want the easy answer, wants everything to be measured, fixed, boxed. He reacts with anger, contempt aggression when Epstein points out that specific, rigid concepts about measuring "life" have limitations.
Bannon seems not just unwilling to recognize there are inherent contradictions within ideas, and that knowledge is something that develops, but to become extremely aggressive to Epstein for saying so.
In fact, Bannon seems to feel fear when Epstein that Epstein is not the "great know all", "financial wizard", fear when Epstein admits not knowing things, not understanding the financial system, fear that reality is in a constant state of transition.
At the end, Bannon discards the role of the admiring apprentice to the master wizard and assumes the rather hysterical role of the master judging a "useless" servant who has not delivered, calls him the "devil," reminds Epstein where his money has come from, namely, from "the worst people in the world", and linked to the namely, from the Satan worshipping paedophiles and eugenicists, reminds him he is a sexual predator.
Bannon seems to be acting in bad faith. You do not sense he is genuinely shocked at these diabolical acts as diappointed by Epstein not delivering he "formula" for world supremacy, for endless power and money and his reaction is primitive violence and anger.
In turn, Epstein refuses to see that he has been in a sense the hands and feet of the devil, torturing and raping children and delivering them en masse to be tortured, raped and killed to powerful people to organize and control groups for political, financial and other gains and in order to set up the one world totalitarian system.
However, there is a sense that Epstein was ready to move on to a new way of thinking and acting, and Bannon, not.
While Epstein seems to reject the idea there is a Spirit and Jesus Christ, you sense he is not far from rethinking even that.
Since Epstein died, since 2019, we can see that the mindset and (hysterical, emotional?) pyscholoy of Bannon has dominated the Globalists approach.
Bannon s hysterical preference for emotional confrontation over rational discussion, certainties over exploration, his uncritical, acceptance of a bunch biases, assumptions as absolute truth has led to fixed dogmatic and aggressive approach of Trump s admin, which constantly misreads reality and which has paved the way for the disastrous decisions, which have now led to the collapse of the US led global order and dollar.
