Three explosions have been reported in Tehran as part of an attack by Israel and the USA on Iran.

There is no sign that the US and Israeli forces scored anything like a knock out blow on Iran or its leadership in the first wave of attacks, opening their forces o a devastating counter attack now that the suprise element has been lost and war has been de facto declared.
Mobile phones lines and internet connections for civilians have been cut in part.
Whether that will affect Iran s miltiary and for how long if it does is not clear.
Considering the enormous number of fighter jets and warships the US has assembled in the region, the damge done to Tehran seems relatively small also compared to the 12 day war in June.
Israel did manage to achieve something like a suprise attack on Tehran. But the advantage was soon lost and Tel Aviv was hit by hypersonic missiles by Iran in a counter attack.
Strikes are also being carried out on other targets in Iran by US and Israeli forces.
But Iran is a vast country and it has been preparing its defences of key assets for months.
About 20 minutes after Tehran was attacked, the IDF has called on the Israeli public to shelter in preparation for waves of drones and hypersonic missiles.
Media report the Epstein administration decided on the dtate of the attack weeks ago.
