Multiple police forces have confirmed they are assessing evidence relating to the Epstein files after sex trafficking allegations were made against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The probe comes after files released by the US Department of Justice showed women were flown in and out of the UK on Jeffrey Epstein’s “Lolita Express” private jet up to 90 times.
15 of those flights arrived at Stansted Airport's private terminal following Epstein’s conviction for child sex offences in 2008.
Some of the passengers were women who said they were abused by the late paedophile, and emails contained in the Epstein files suggest at least one woman was taken to Buckingham Palace.
“We are assessing the information that has emerged in relation to private flights into and out of Stansted Airport following the publication of the US DoJ Epstein files,” Essex Police told The Sun on Tuesday.
Essex Police confirmed it will examine flight logs and emails relating to the East London airport, while Bedfordshire Police is understood to be investigating flights to Luton Airport.
Surrey Police also said it is seeking access to unredacted Epstein files relating to a child abuse allegation against Andrew, 65, and Ghislaine Maxwell.

British police have expanded their interest in the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s links to Britain, by admitting for the first time they are looking at claims he used dozens of private flights into UK airports to traffic women.
It comes after former prime minister Gordon Brown said that documents about Epstein released in the US showed in “graphic detail” how the disgraced financier, with links to high-profile people including the former Prince Andrew, was able to use Stansted airport in Essex to “fly in girls from Latvia, Lithuania and Russia”.
Essex police on Friday had repeatedly declined to confirm to the Guardian whether it was assessing claims that Stansted had been used for such flights. On Tuesday, the force admitted it was.
