Just as signs are growing the AI bubble is about to burst, Alex Karp has delivered a scathing criticism of US LLM AI models, focussed on toxenmaxxing and not on improving productivity.
The Iran war seems to have delivered the death blow to the US AI hype as the 100s of billions of dollars from the Gulf States into AI and tech stocks dries up due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz upending their oil sales.
But the real problem may be the Tech Billionaires, lacking all intelligence themselves, attempted to build artificial intelligence only to create the ultimate digital moron wasting trillions of dollar sin the process.
Let us not beat around the bust.
The US AI models have all the "intellectual" features and patterns of thinking of imbeciles, morons and fools. That is why these AI models cannot get results for busienses or increase productivity.
Text books may soon be written about how dangerous it is for a society or empire to be led by a bunch of morons who are so arrogant they do not even see how moronic they are and their flagship AI tech is.

On Wednesday, Palantir CEO Alex Karp delivered a blistering critique of frontier AI labs, accusing them of having an "effing insane" business model that leaves enterprises paying escalating token costs for limited value while risking their proprietary data and intellectual property. He said that top AI labs such as Anthropic and OpenAI were misleading corporate partners - "overselling" the risks of AI while at the same time offering their most powerful models to companies and governments worldwide.

Karp s criticism of US AI comes as the AI bubble looks set to burst as a side effect, ironically of the Iran war, which has devastated the economies of the Gulf states, big investors in the US AI and tech stocks.
Even more ironically, Karp is critiquing the output of crony capitalism and the cosy Epstein networks which he and Palantir as well as Peter Thiel belong to.
Worrying the very thing that has gone so wrong in US AI models is mirrored in the thinking of the Tech Billionaires, who developed these models.
Briefly, AI is trapped in a dead end called solipsism.
The LLM models rely on their own isolated, massive training data and internal logic. They lack real awareness of the world outside, objective reality and of a company s conext and unique, localized reality and internal constraints. Because the AI doesn't genuinely understand objective reality and the specific context of the user, it hallucinates relevance, leading to costly outputs that do not align with actual business needs.
They "know" only what they are trained on, yet they attempt to dictate the realities for enterprises entirely isolated from the companies' true operating contexts. Instead of integrating with a company's actual workflows, the AI functions like a solipsistic entity—generating responses based purely on its own constrained logic while trying to siphon a company's data, rather than genuinely serving the enterprise’s specific, localized needs.
The costs are huge. The energy and chip needs to generate a pretty useless output are huge.
The productivity benefits are negligible, spelling inflation.
Meanwhile, Chinese models organize information and energy more efficiently to align with real world problem solving.
Something really has gone completely wrong.
My tip to Karp, Thiel and Gates is to go back to studying basic philosophy.
If the Tech Billionaires had been humble enough to hold a seminar on the question of what is intelligence? How can we find the truth? What is knowledge? then they may have avoided creating a replica on a gigantic scale of the mind of a solipsistic moron too arrogant and self absorbed to relate to the real word, that is, US AI models...
Solipism is the mindset ruling Trmp, Kushner, Gates, Thiel and the Epstein clique and behind the Chinese trade war disaster, the Ukraine and Iran war disaster, the Greek prosecutor probe disaster, the covid disaster, the AI disaster.
Solipsism can also be described as the mindset of the arrogant moron who thinks they know it all and are above and outside reality and can dictate reality.
