If Americans are so rich, why do they have go into debt to pay for goods so cheap they are produced by peasants?

Americans should be warned
When JD Vances calls the Chinese peasants it may well be because that is how he thinks about the American workers.
The former Marine should recall the so called Taliban peasants defeated them in Afghanistan and the so called Vietnam peasants defeated them in Vietnam.
Alas, with his low level of education, and a broken family background, a mother and father who abandoned him, JD Vance is the closest to a peasant America can produce.
He seems to be projecting onto the Chinese and Americans his own deficits.

A real peasant is not someone who is poor.
A real peasant is someone with no horizones, no ideals, no values, no talent, no culture, no roots, no education, no religion and who DOES NOT WANT them.
The mother of Portugese football star Ronaldo was also dirt poor, had to work 2,3 jobs to keep her four children, do without food for her children. But unlike the mother of JD Vance, she had values, culture, class.
She was not a good time party girl. She did not abandon her children to go take drugs. She did not abandon her religion, her culture, her humanity.
Her son, Ronaldo, is a credit to her and all humanity, if I can say so. Not only is he a brilliant footballer, he is a fantastic human being who cares about his family, his team, other people. Humble, kind and generous.
But the world should bow down when the great JD Vance from dirt poor background calls the Chinese peasants.

A stellar career to fulfil the insiatiable ambition of the dirt poor drug addicts, divorced, uneducated son from the Rustbelt for money, money, money at all cost.
Americans should beware that that kind of peasant can turn out to be the least kind, the least liberal, the least generous to others once they have made their money,money, money by hook or by crook.
Tucker Carlson comes from a similar background. He does not seem to come from the established middle class although his father seemed to have character, ethics and guts.
JD seems to have inheritd a lack of all values and even basic decency from his mother, whose life is as tragic as it was petty, self seeking, small.
