The price of oil fell to its lowest level in four years as Donald Trump’s trade war raised fears about global demand.
Brent crude, the international benchmark, dropped another 3.5pc towards $63 a barrel, dropping nearly 15pc over the last five trading days.
It has dropped nearly 30pc from more than $90 a barrel a year ago.
US-produced West Texas Intermediate has fallen below $60 a barrel for the first time in four years.
