Modern Ireland s economy is hugely dependent on petrol and oil which is imported from the Middle East also.
If this shortage of fuel continues, it will spell the end of modern Ireland, mass starvation and deaths as economic activity and farming and fishing grinds to a halt.

Very hard to see the Irish accepting the draft as an alternative from the very politicians who have cuaused this disaster.
