The mafia boss
Kushner is the potential originator or organizer of the plan if evidence allows us to infer that he deliberately sought the family's assistance against the reporter.
The important evidence would therefore be things such as:
communications between the boss and the family;
financial transfers or other benefits;
evidence that the benefit was contingent on particular conduct;
instructions concerning the reporter;
evidence connecting the family's actions to the boss's objectives.
We should reach the people who planned and designed criminal conduct even when the plan was executed by others.
The sister in Saudi Arabia
Her position is particularly interesting because she could function as the intermediary connecting Kushner to the family, brother, building in which the reporter is in.
But there are two radically different possibilities.
Scenario A: Her career genuinely advances for legitimate reasons, and she has no knowledge of Kushner, the reporter, the criminal probes E 17 449 and D 15 218 or any arrangement involving her family.
Scenario B: Kushner deliberately provides her with a career opportunity or financial benefit as compensation for, or inducement to, her family's cooperation against the reporter, and she knows this.
And, it turns, out her career advanced from January 2025 with money from the same source, the broad PIF of Saudi Arabia, as Kushner s Affinity as she makes a pivot to Saudi money and the Saudi research ecosystem after a trip to Riyadh and a friend of Kushner, Mohammed Bin Salman sits on the boards of the Saudi funding organizations for both Nikopoulou and Kushner.
In Scenario B, the career advancement could potentially be evidence of an exchange or inducement, but it would still need to be proved.
A temporal coincidence—“her career took off just when the brothers began persecuting the reporter”—would be a lead or circumstantial evidence, not by itself proof of a criminal agreement.
However, KP N told me that he speaks to his sister every day about my activities and my presence in the building, living in their mother s flat. I also stayed in Katerina s flat for about 4 months.
I spoke to her on the phone several times, especially after Herriot Watt in Dubai terminated her contract following the six month probationary period giving her notice in or around December 2024
This, after being given the phone of KP Nikopoulos to speak to her in Dubai.
At the time, she was very distressed about the end of her contract and about her debts to a legal firm of about 30,000 UKP incurred in a dispute with Strathclyde about her rank as a formal professor, if I understood her correctly.
Therefore, her knowledge is established.
That KP N and Katerina speak several times a day can be corroborated by their phone records and by the brother, Ioannis, and other witnesses.
Whenever KP N is on the phone, it almost always with Katarina.

Suppose the evidence established that they:
deliberately targeted the reporter;
knew about Ksushner interest in the reporter;
knew about the sisters unexpected career boost from the very same funding source as Kushner in Saudi Arabia from January 2025 and Kushner s interest in destroying the reporter to hide E 17 449;
received or expected a benefit through their sister;
acted pursuant to an agreement with Kushner, and, or the sister or each other.
That would provides a connection:

→ brothers' acts against reporter
The brothers are therefore not merely be “people who happened to persecute the reporter.” The are participants in a common plan.
The link is their sister who receives money from the Saudi government, royal family just like Jared Kushner.
This flow of money to the sister began in January 2025 when she visited Riyadh and a building
Mohammed bin Salman is the linking figure sitting on the boards of both funds channelling money to Kushner s Affinity company and Nikopoulou s research network.
He sits on the board of PIF which gives billions to Kushner s Affinity.
He sits on the board of Wrth which co funds Nicopoulou
A January 2025 trip to Riyadh laid the foundations for the PIF, Boutique Group, Saudi funding of Nikopoulou s research and the acceleration of her career.
Her Saudi-funded research sits inside a Saudi institutional ecosystem whose senior leadership overlaps with the leadership of the sovereign wealth fund that invested in Kushner's Affinity Partners.
From January 2025 onward, Nicolopoulou's career entered a markedly more Gulf-oriented and internationally networked phase. Saudi-funded research became a concrete component of that phase, particularly through research on women's entrepreneurship and heritage industries, while her Ajman appointment provided an institutional platform for developing entrepreneurial-leadership research. This Saudi connection subsequently sits alongside UK and international funding and collaborations, including her 2026 NCEE Fellowship and the BA/Leverhulme-funded AI/entrepreneurial-leadership project.
Before 2025
Nicolopoulou already had the academic credentials and research record but her move to the Gulf States in 2024 hit a rock when Herriot Watt s branch in Dubai did not extend her six month probation and her contract was terminated end 2024 leaving her having to find another job.
Then in January 2025, she makes a pivot to Saudi Arabia and strong contacts to Saudi Arabian researchers who are funded by the Saudi government and goes on a visit to Riyadh to explore career and funding networks.

She enters a highly curated MENA/Saudi entrepreneurship network through MENAGEN/BGCEL.
During the trip
She gets simultaneous exposure to:
international entrepreneurship scholars;
Saudi women entrepreneurs;

The organisers explicitly designed the trip around research collaboration and cross-cultural projects.

The cluster's remit includes entrepreneurial leadership, inclusive entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ecosystems, and explicitly seeks national and international research partnerships.

So Ajman didn't create the network from nothing. It appears to have provided a new institutional platform on which she could exploit and expand a network that had already been developing.

Ajman
The solidly documented bridge is WRTH ↔ PIF through PIF-owned companies such as Boutique Group.
There is a genuine institutional intersection and it started in January 2025 when Nikopoulou went on a visit to Riyadh and interactd with Saudi government funded entities, which subsequently ended up funding her career acceleration that year.
Wrth itself is not PIF. It is a Saudi cultural institution. Its official site says it opened in 2021 and operates in traditional arts, education, research and preservation.
Its Honorary President is Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and its board includes Saudi Culture Minister Prince Badr bin Farhan Al Saud.
But Wrth has a documented relationship with a PIF-owned company.
In June 2022, Wrth signed an MoU with Boutique Group, and Saudi government sources explicitly identify Boutique Group as owned by the Public Investment Fund. The collaboration concerns traditional arts, crafts, cultural heritage and studies.

The Affinity network is similar.

The common person is Mohammed bin Salman who sits on the board of both Wrth and PIF.
The U.S. Senate Finance Committee reported that Affinity's lead investor was Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, with Affinity charging PIF a 1.25% annual fee on $2 billion in committed funds. The committee said Affinity had received substantial fees from the Saudi government. Those were findings and concerns of the Senate investigation; they should not be treated as proof of the committee's more accusatory interpretations.
The family as a whole is struggling.
After the death of the mother, the school de facto closed following a dispute between the brothers KP Nikopoulos and Ioannis who moved across the street and started a new school taking the staff and students with him.
KP Nikopoulos is struggling because he has no job and has actually never had a job outside of his mother s school and spent most of his adult life studying for degrees. He failed to get a PhD from the Open University in The Netherlands. He is working part time on a DBA at Portsmouth University which has significant fees. He relies for his income on rent from the family properties which are the subject of a legal dispute over ownership etc.
Ioannis Nikopoulos may be struggling because of the generally poor economic situation in Greece, Larisa, meaning people do not have money to send their children to a Nightschool or Prep school or Frontisierio.
However, the brothers have been induced to participate not because they were struggling but because they wanted to have more money and opportunities like Katarina.
The temporal connection is interesting.
First the two family members participated.
Then, when Ioannis Nikopoulos gained more control of the building, he was approached and participated.
