Son of the Tempi prosecutor had one of his fingers severed off, as Mitsotakis party is polling at just 20%, without democratic legitimacy

Vasili Kalogirou, the son of the Appeals prosector overseeing the Tempi corruption at Larisa, had one of his fingered severed off by a clean blade, examinations have shown, reinforcing the notion he was murdered.

The revelation comes as pressure grows on Mitsotakis and his Ministers to resign over the Tempi corruption scandal.

A party with only 20% of the voters support cannot claim to be in power legitimacy and have a mandate to rule an entire country just because the opposition parties are (deliberately?) splintered and the various parties that make up the opposition each have fewer votes than the 20%.

According to the latest Metron Analysis poll, negative views of the New Democracy government have risen to 73% from 59%. However, New Democracy still leads with a 20% margin, while SYRIZA is in sixth place with 5.5%.

A country ruled by a party which is rejected by 73% of its citizens because of a substantial justice scandal is no longer a democracy.

In another development, the Appeals court in Larisa has refused to nullify an obviously fake expert report that a video, known by the entire country to be fake, also becausethey were shown to the public before the time announced that they were found for the first time by security company, Interstar, in complete violation of due process.

The motion to annul the expert analysis of the three videos related to the Tempi railway disaster has been rejected. Today, the General Director of OSE Maintenance, who was present at the accident site from the first moment, testified before the Appellate Investigator handling the case. The Court of Appeals dismissed the motion filed by Mr. Aslanidis, the father of a victim, concerning the videos from the freight train.

Specifically, the Court of Appeals ruled against the annulment of the expert analysis of the three videos, which had been submitted to the Appellate Investigator on February 5 by the legal advisor of OSE’s security company, Interstar, according to ERT.

It is noted that Pavlos Aslanidis, father of Dimitris Aslanidis, had filed a request to invalidate the expert report compiled on February 13, 2025, regarding the three newly surfaced videos, arguing that the victims’ technical advisors were not invited to participate in the process.
