AYATOLLA KHAMENI CLAIMS VICTORY OVER ISRAEL AS HYPERSONIC MISSILES PROVE A GAME CHANGER IN DELIVERING STRATEGIC VICTORIES

China is leading in the global race for hypersonic weapons  with systems like the DF-17 capable of targeting the USA itself. (Or Jeff Bezos wedding in Venice...)

But the truly stunning take away from the 12 day war between Israel, the USA and Iran was the power of Iran s hypersonic missiles, capable of penetrating the Iron Dome and certainly of sinking US aircraft carriers.

41,000 claims for damage have already been filed by Israeli citizens also for destruction to buildings, estimated to be 3 billion.

With the Iron Dome failing, Israel s military assets and packed urban areas were vulnerable to extreme destruction.

Israel s main oil refinery was struck. It s only airport was closed.

When considering which country faced strategic defeat, it is clear, it was Israel.

There is a difference between tactical damage and strategic damage. While Israel definitely inflicted tactical damage on Iran, it was very far from delivering a a strategic victory.

Trump and Netanyahu stopped the war using what appear to be a flight full of bizarre theatrics just as it seemed Israel s and the US was about to run out of missiles.

The figure includes funds that will be needed to repair missile-hit buildings as well as compensation that will be paid to local businesses. Israeli authorities had previously said that more than 9,000 people had been displaced from their homes amid the strikes — with many residences damaged or destroyed by the Iranian attacks. The $3 billion estimate does not include the cost of replacing weapons and and defense systems used in the campaign.

Israel is facing a deepening financial crisis after its 12-day war with Iran, with direct losses estimated at $12 billion and total costs potentially reaching $20 billion. The war’s toll includes military expenses, infrastructure damage, and compensation to citizens, with 41,000 claims already filed. The Israeli military is seeking an additional $11.7 billion to replenish arms and support reserves. Economic forecasts now show a rising deficit and a projected slowdown in national growth. Mass evacuations, destroyed homes, and thousands of displaced settlers are adding further strain on the state budget. Officials are reportedly considering a request for financial aid or guaranteed loans from the United States to stabilize the economy and fund military needs.
