 The Marines are not trained for riot control and should not be sent to LA for that reason.

The people of LA and California do not want them to be deployed against them. The Governor, who has a right to refuse them, has refused them.

The scale of the riots may be a far smaller than media coverage suggests due to the manipulation of social media algorithms and AI, it has been plausibly claimed.

Lying about a major decision which could plunge the US into civil war, causing tens of thousands of deaths, mass starvation, dollar collapse.

If they use their weapons, they could end up investigated by the LAPD for serious crimes.

The Marines and Nat Gaurd do not want to be involved in these kind of crimes. They do not want to go back to their homes, communities and be seen as members of the Gestapo by their neighbours.

And they do not want to end up on trial, sued for using unjustified and excessive force against civilians, reporters posing no threat to them whatever.

They have been let down by Hegseth and Dan Caine who should have had the backhone to tell Trump "NO" to the deployment of Marines on US soil, no to an unlawful power grab, no to civil war. And no to war with Iran.

That requires guts.

Rubber stamping sending Marines into LA when the people do not want them, when the Governor has said he does not want them, when the county is on the brink of civil war, when the dollar about to collapse getting civilians beaten to a pulp, shot, wounded, killed does not require guts.

 It requires limitless self interest.

But limitless self interest is the characteristic of all too many Americans in top positions today, which is why the covid jab killer scheme and cover up has been able to move forward devastating the public health and public trust.
