Bourla s lawyer appealed to the self importance of Bourla as something that places him above the law.

But hubris, arrogance, confidence is no substitute for calculation, facts and  logic in a trial.

As Staassen noted, in a court facts are what count.

A court process is an objective process  of a public institution regulated by procedures.

For Gates and Kushner  to try to turn the justice process into their private weapon to target critics by influencing and bribing justice officials, as they have done in Larisa, leaves a trail of evidence in the official records which is more damning for them than any other evidence.
