What is lacking to get a denuclearisation deal is a will from Trump, Putin, Kim and Xi to achieve an historical peace deal to get rid of nukes.
They can start a new era where technological advances, wealth is channelled not into war, destruction, murder, death but into boosting things that contribute to civilisation, to peace, to trade, to prosperity, to education, to space exploration even.
Clearly, there would have to be an effective inspection regime but getting rid of nukes would be a huge achievement.
