Following my email to you yesterday,forwarded below, the first complete sequence of the hantavirus from the current cluster from MV Hondius taken from a Swiss man with confirmed Andes strain has been uploaded to the Virological.org platform by the Swiss National Reference Center for Emerging Viral Infections, Geneva University Hospitals and the Institute of Medical Virology, University of Zurich.

“On 5 May 2026, the Swiss National Reference Center for Emerging Viral Infections (Geneva University Hospitals) confirmed a case of Andes strain in a Swiss resident who had travelled on the MV Hondius cruise ship. The virus was sequenced from blood samples jointly by the Institute of Medical Virology (University of Zurich) and the Swiss National Reference Center for Emerging Viral Infections (Geneva University Hospitals) using Illumina technology (MiSeq instrument). The consensus sequence was generated with a minimum coverage of 5 reads.

Swiss virologist Isabelle Eckerle from Geneva University Hospitals said there was no danger that the hantavirus would become a pandemic.

The Andes strain can be transmitted from person to person, but only in a rare and random cases with contact with infected rodents, Eckerle told Swiss TV.

The virus lineage is stable and  directly related to a strain which killed about a dozen people in Argentina before it died out.

To clarify, the virus shows no sign of having mutated to become more transmissible.
Eckerkle said occasional human transmission is "what we see again and again with rare viruses. They are not easily transmissible, and yet such events occur by chance or unfortunate circumstances".

"There is actually no reason for the virus to mutate....comfortable in the rodent, the rodent does not get sick".
 
She therefore does not expect the virus to mutate.

The virus shows no sign of entering the Swiss or European rodent population, she  added.

Others scientists who looked at the sequence of the Hantavirus agreed with Eckerle that there was no sign of a pandemic potential.

Dr Damien Tully, Associate Professor at the Medical Research Council/Uganda Virus Research Institute and London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (MRC/UVRI and LSHTM) Uganda Research Unit said:
“The sequence is broadly consistent with what we would expect from a hantavirus spillover from its natural reservoir rather than the emergence of a dramatically altered virus.  Reassuringly, the closest related sequences are from the 2018–2019 outbreak in Argentina, suggesting the virus remains part of a known viral lineage rather than representing a highly divergent new strain.  Viruses naturally accumulate mutations over time as they replicate, so some genetic differences compared with earlier outbreak sequences are expected.  Preliminary analyses indicate only a relatively small degree of change from the most closely related Argentine sequences.  At present, there is no clear evidence from this single genome of major genetic shifts, unusual evolution, or reassortment.

And yet, even as the first genome sequence reveals that the virus has no pandemic potential, scientists are racing to develop a hantavirus vaccine "as fears grow over the threat of another global pandemic linked to deadly animal-borne viruses.

Researchers at the University of Bath are currently developing a potential vaccine, but experts warn it could still take years before one is fully approved and widely available. "

There is even discussion of using drones to deliver the vaccines.

In fact, an application is an international application claiming priority to U.S. Provisional Patent Application 63/245,101 was  filed Sep. 16, 2021,  by four US scientists, three of work for Texas Medical Univristy linked to US bioweapons projects, involving Ebola and covid.

All this, as a top level US government official, David Morens, has just been indicted  by the DOJ for his  role in covering up the funding of the US government to weaponize covid in Wuhan using the EcoHealth Alliance, an NGO funded by Bill Gates, and for his role in falsely portraying covid as a disease with a natural origin when it had a lab origin as  US Senator Roger Marhsall also concluded in his bombshell report.

To conclude,  are you at WHO again causing panic to justify a mass vaccine campaign for the profit of the pharmaceutical companies as WHO was accused of doing by Paul Flynn in a report for the Council of Europe in 2010?
