The profound misery, emptiness, alienation of people in the West under a corrupt, avaricious and despotic elite, culminating in the chaotic, sudden and complete economic, political, social and military collapse of the US led global empire, is making people aware that we need a spiritual rebirth, a rebirth of values, of a sense of connection to others, to Jesus Christ, who is the center of history, and our personal guide and saviour.
Prof Xueqin Jiang says a spiritual rebirth is the most vital thing humanity need. People need to rediscover a sense of purpose and meaning in their life, he says.
When we turn from a focus on our selfish needs to helping others, serving the community, the family, the state, the bigger picture, when we act in accordance with the example of Jesus Christ whose every action expressed love and service for us, when we manifest in our actions Christian values, and not just in rituals and words, our lives become meaningful. We feel close to God, our fellow human being and at peace with our selves and as if we have reached our true goal.
When we refuse to act, refuse to get involved in the messy, chaotic, dangerous world, refuse to engage in the fight against evil, refuse to try to uphold and protect a community, country, family, out of fear, we deny the very chance Christ gives us to come close to Him, to be changed, transformed, become more like Him.
People who refuse to act, engage in the world, who consider themselves to be too "pure" and "good" for the messy world and acting to make things better for others. are often the harshest judges of the people who do engage in the battle against evil.
Jesus Christ was a man of action and he calls us to action.
He did not merely preach or judge. He himself gave us an example of a life of dynamic, creative and varied action. He performed miracles, healed the sick, fed the hungry, raised the dead, calmed storms, exoricized demons. Through His actions he broke down the barriers between the Divine and the human, awoke faith.
In a final act of sacrifice and love for us, He accepted the most extreme human misery, suffering, humiliation, pain, despair, Crucifiction and death so He could raise us up in spirit with His Resurrection and we can have eternal life with Him in paradise.
We can now say for sure from the scientific examinations of the extraordinary Shroud of Turin, that Jesus Christ really did resurrect again from death for us and to be with us for all eternity in spirit.
He is always with us and ready to help us when we take up the battle against evil.
But if we refuse to do battle, if we stay on the sidelines, are paralyzed by doubts, fears, if we do not bring forth the fruit of works and virtue, help others in need, then we must face His rejection as he warns us also in His withering of the fig tree and tells us in His Parable of the Talents.
Who knows? Maybe the Chinese will find true Christianity resonates with their spirit as well?

Prof. Xueqin Jiang argues that both historical patterns and game theory can be used to accurately predict future events. Prof. Jiang discusses socio-economic and political challenges of a world undergoing rapid change: the US imperial model becoming more bellicose during decline, Europe's struggle to remain relevant, the internal turmoil that will shake Asia, and the second war on Iran that will be very different as Iran understands this is an existential struggle.
