Now that Maria Karystianou has declared she will form a party in Greece and will participate in elections, and so does pose a real threat to the uniparty, she is being subjected to a new level of smears and dirty tricks campaign.
Disappointingly, other members of the association of the victims of the Tempi train crash have turned against her falsely claiming this move is inconsistent.
But even Ekathimerini points out that entering politics is the most logical thing of all if she does want justice. After three years, there is no sign of justice for the Tempe victims at all. The brzen cover up continues because Mitsotakis sits in the Maximos Mansion and controls the machinery of state and the corrupt judges.

One thing people should not underestimate is the amount of deals that are done in the background.
Some one is identified as a person without a backbone or a brain and targetted by the network and approached and corrupted.
Whether Maria Karystianou succeeds will be determined by her media strategy.
And it will be a test of the Greek people.
There can be new party and no renewal of Greek society without the support of the people. People need to do the work, get informed, do the research and support the right candidates.
But I believe if people do get the right information, they will do the right thing.
Smear campaigns work because, unfortunately, there is a hidden malice and envy in many people. Many people are often all too ready to believe any lie about another person, however absurd, because there is a hiden hatred and jealousy.
We are responsible if we accept superficial smears, lies and the trashing of other people.
The system Maria Karystianou faces is a system which was established by King Otto when he was sent by the Rothschild bankers to privatize Greece s central bank. Parallel, he implemented an iron control to disenfranchose the Greeks, smeared and imprisoned his political rivals, and used brute force to prevent an uprising due to the mass impoverishment and high taxes, which private central banks bring. All this in the name of Greek Independence!

Speaking to ANT1, Karystianou said official announcements will only be made when a structured and substantive programme is ready, stressing that her entry into politics stems from a sense of personal duty. “There is no rush. The only thing that is certain is that we will participate in the next elections,” she said.
She reiterated that her primary, non-negotiable goal remains the vindication of her child and, through that path, a broader restoration of justice. Her campaign, she said, is inextricably linked to confronting corruption and nepotism, which she views as deeply rooted pathologies in Greek public life and core factors behind the Tempe tragedy.
Karystianou rejected accusations that she is “instrumentalising” her daughter’s death, calling such claims immoral and unfounded. “No one would choose such a loss for personal gain,” she said, adding that her political initiative is directed precisely against the practices and tolerances that, in her view, produced the systemic failures behind the crash.
She also expressed concern about criticism from a small number of victims’ relatives, questioning how political representation and demands for a stronger, independent judiciary could undermine the wider struggle for truth about Tempe. She stressed that she respects all families but will not accept attempts to discredit or divide the collective effort.
