Iran s hypersonic missile threat means that the  era when the power of the US military has been able to dominate the world has ended.

In recognition that the US and Israel faced a shattering defeat if they attacked Iran,  Benjamin Netanyahu's Wing of Zion departed Israel to land in Greece  on Wednesday 14th January as tensions reached boiling point.

By fleeing for a second time to Greece as tensions soared, Netanyahu seems to have understood that his life is in danger. There is no more safe zone for him or any of the Globalists in any bunker, in any desert, in any command post in the era of the hypersonic missile.

The seduction to act quickly and escalate violence is never so great as when the persons in power who orders it believes they will not suffer from the consequences.

An important pyschological barrier to violence and war may have been broken in the elite.

Iran s commanders have threatened to eviscerate Trump s residence at Mar a Lago.

The "Wing of Zion" (which has been dubbed Israel's "Air Force One") touched down in Crete, the political base of Netanyahu s  ally Kyriakos Mitsotakis during a critical time period when  Netanyahu himself appears to have engaged in frantic phone calls to Putin and to Trump to get nay attack called off, according to The Telegraph.

Other leaders of Arab nations hosting US bases which were in the crosshairs of Iranian missile strikes also lobbied Trump to not attack Iran.

The plane's departure from Israel came as  Iran Commander Majid Mousavi stated on Wednesday that Iran's missile stockpile has expanded since the "12-Day War" with Israel last year.

"We are at peak readiness," state media quoted Mousavi as saying.

According to The Telegraph, it was Netanyahu who urged Trump not to attack Iran after the disintegrating US military industrial complex could not deliver the missiles which Isarael would have needed.

"It now emerges that, in common with Arab leaders, Benjamin Netanyahu has urged his great ally not to strike at this time.

Iran is believed to have used only about half of its medium-range ballistic missiles in the 12-day war against Israel last June, and the best estimates put its remaining arsenal at about 1,500, (although the number of launchers it has available is open to question).

Meanwhile, Israeli military chiefs have faced constant questions over the number of interceptor missiles they have at their disposal to fend off future attacks.

Some estimates put the number fired off in June at the equivalent of two year’s production capacity.

The fact is that as the June campaign wore on, more Iranian missiles penetrated Israel’s air defences, as a proportion of those fired.

Both the Israeli government and public are prepared to face the trauma of further Iranian salvos if it produces a tangible benefit in terms of Israeli security (28 Israelis are thought to have died from missile strikes last June).

However, with particular concerns about the stockpiles of Arrow exoatmospheric anti-ballistic interceptors, there is a view among some in Israel’s security establishment that this is not the ideal time for another round of fighting."

No longer able to dimiss his own death as a fantastical, unlikely outcome,   Netanyahu may have decided to flee again pre emptively just in case Iran did fire its missiles.

Israel’s “Wing of Zion” official state plane left the ultra secure Nevatim Air Force base near Beersheba, per flight tracking sites.

On June 13, hours after Israel launched its attack on Iranian nuclear and ballistic missiles sites, Wing of Zion took off from Ben Gurion Airport.

When Netanyahu returned t Tel Aviv, he saw a city shattered by hypersonic missiles.

Prior to Iran’s April 13, 2024, missile and drone attack on Israel, Wing of Zion was also flown out from Nevatim Airbase, which was later targeted.

On June 13th , the Wing of Zion headed for Athens FIR airport.

Athens FIR airport, and all Greek airspace, was recently subjected to a suspected jamming attack which collapsed radio communications.

Starlink was also jammed during the street protests in Iran.

This may have been a factor in The Wing of Zion decision to seeksafety in Crete this time.

This time the Wing of Zion headed for Crete, and for the smaller airport of Herakleion.

The Israeli state aircraft, the Wing of Zion (Boeing 767, registration 4X-ISR), landed at Heraklion International Airport on Crete, Greece, on January 14, 2026.

Heraklion is the home town and political  base of Mitsotakis.

The death of millions of others, of 2 million people in Gaza, seems to have left Netanyahu and his associates like Kushner cold.

But the prospect, by contrast, of his own death may have stirred in him fear and anguish. And a  sudden, painful death, the end of his life in this world, was on the cards for Bibi.

According to official accounts, Netanyahu was not on the plane.  Israeli sources describe the flight as a routine training or maintenance diversion. However, it is hard to explain why his official plane left without him at such a crucial time.

Left behind in Tel Aviv and in the other cities in Israel were the traumatized population he had abandoned to face the hypersonic missiles in the 12 day war in June.

They were left to wearily open the bomb shelters and prepare for new strikes.

But at the last minute, disaster was stopped when Netanyahu reached out to Iran using Putin as a mediator.

IDF has unveiled a five year plan to prepare for future wars.

"The plan, to be known as "Hoshen," is expected to be launched on April 1, 2026, barring unexpected operational developments, and to conclude in 2030. The IDF says the plan's three guiding principles are readiness for war, restoring the military to full operational fitness, and adapting force buildup to the challenges of the future," according to media.

However, it is hard to see how little Iseael backed by the collapsing dollar and disintegrating US can keep up with Iran, Russia and China.

Crete also hosts Souda Bay, a US  naval base which hosts the only deep-water pier in the region capable of berthing a US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.

Tellingly, there are no US aircraft carrier in the region and most of the air assets are also absent.

This may be because Trump and the Pentagon were aware that these assets could be destroyed in minutes by the well aimed blows of the hypersonic missiles, and that they had no defences against them.

The magnitude of the destruction which Iran s  hypersonic missiles can perform is only limited by their war head. Fitted with nuclear warheads, they could wipe out Tel Aviv and the Nevatim air base.

For the world to see US aircraft carriers being sunk, air bases eviscerated and the  results of the destructive capacity of hypersonic missiles would have spelled the end of whatever claim to being a military  power in 2026 might have. Not only would Trump s standing in the world have sunk, so would it have plummetted domestically.

It would show the world that countries are no longer subordinate to the US military power. That the domination which the US and Globalists achieved through US military strength is no longer possible. US military assets may still extend all over the globe. But these assets can be destroyed in minutes by the glide hypersonic missiles possessed by Russia, China and Iran.

Crucially, Israel itself would have been exposed as defenceless if not wiped out altogether

The entire elite of Israel and the IDF faced evisceration along with the population as the missiles can shatter the best protected command bunkers.
