Ths is a huge opportunity for Maria Karystianou to create a genuinely new movement and without figures from Niki like Giorgos Apostolakis and Marisa Gratsia
She can include reformng the central bank to free up 100s billions of euros.
She can have completely new people in her government who are there only because of honest, enthusiasm and commitment to making society better.
Maria Karystianou is being subjected to a massive smear campaign and now there are trivial accusations that she owes 5000 euros to the association of vcictims for travel expenses, it seems.
The Tempe movement for justice involved rallies all over Greece as well as court cases and so also a lot of travel.
To suggest that is corruption?
My thinking is her lawyer Maria Gratsia and her friends including Giorgos and his sister Sofia Apostolaki cannot credibly be presented as people who want a new system free of corruption.
Their long association with Niki party, which represents the worst kind of religion, that is, the formal hypocritical, and utterly corrupt kind of institutional religion, risks tarnishing any new movement s image and losing votes.
Niki is not popular precisely because it is associated with right wing, fake, ideological religion and corruption.
The majority of Greek people cannot identify with that kind of institutional religion masking massive corrutption in 2026
Their record in office is also not good. What did Niki accomplish?
Sofia Apostolaki is the top prosecutor of the Appeals court in Larisa who has gone along with every corruption and cover up since 2023 whether Tempe or the covid jabs. She could have resigned. She has played a key role in denying me justice and creating the dire situation I am in by denying me justice.
Corrupt prosecutor do not want an independent justice and a movement that fights the very corruption and nepotism they have benefitted from to be elected. As for the clergy, well, their corruption is manifest in D 15 218 and E 17 449 because they also involved in that. Yet, Maria Gratsia is a loycal lawyer defending the church, according to the media.
Is she really interested in helping Maria Karystianou or in controlling her?
I asked her for help in getting justice in D 15 218 and E 17 449 before Christmas. I told her how dire my situation is.
Three weeks have passed and I have received no reply even and certainly no help. Nothing.
Yet, she is contstantly on TV talking about how actions count more than words.
To sum up, I think Maria Karystianou has to organize her own media, her own programme and tap the goodwill, creativelity and intelligence of public.
She should ignore the smears and just focus on getting a good programme and media together.
There are huge numbers of talented, enthusiastic and able peoplein Greece whom Maria Karystianou can tap to be a part of a genuinly new government which delivers on its promises to fight corruption, nepotism and bring about change.
The key is renationalizing the central bank to raise living standards permanently as discussed in D 15 218 and elsewhere.
