Germany alleges China used a laser on one of its aircraft participating in a mission in the Red Sea as Houthis hypersonic missiles hit Israel

Germany has accused a Chinese warship of attacking with lasers one of its aircraft working on an EU military mission in the Red Sea, a vital maritime route.

The allegation that China has used a new laser weapon against a NATO country s air craft comes as Houthis, who are based in Yemen, fired drones and hypersonic missiles hitting Ben Gurion airport and other targets in Israel.

The attack by the Houthis is believed to one of the largest ever against Israel.

Ben Gurion airport was briefly closed and flights canncelled according to media.

The hits suggest Israel s air defence missile system, the Iron Dome, has been seriously damaged.

China has not commented or confirmed the attack.

A false flag accusation by Germany?
