Israel s Iron Dome has been all but destroyed by Iran s hypersonic and other missiles.
Despite protestations to the contrary, Netanyahu and his cronies seem to have known the Iranian counter attack would result in massive damage to Israel.
It has now emerged, Israeli airlines were ordered to fly their planes secretly to Greece, Cyprus and the US to escape destruction and to be able to fly Israelis who fled Iranian missiles back.
Netanyahu himself is reported to have fled to Greece on his Presidential plane.
The question arises. Why did Netanahu attack Iran in the first place? Or was Israeli intelligence so flawed that the IDF only realized during the attack that Iran had massive air defence missile capacities and hypersonic missiles and that defeat was looming.
Either way, Netanyhau has made a historic miscalculation which has put Israel in great jeopardy and must go.
From media
Israel secretly transferred its fleet of planes from its main Ben-Gurion airport to airports in Cyprus, Greece, and the US ahead of its preparations for “Operation Rising Lion,” Israel’s attack against Iran, the Jerusalem Post reported on Monday, citing another Israeli newspaper.
The defense ministry instructed El Al, Arkia, Israir, and Air Haifa to move all their aircrafts, while Israeli security agency Shin Bet increased security in these countries, the report said. Dozens of aircraft, flight attendants, and plane crews were secretly transferred to Greece and Cyprus with the intention of rescuing thousands of stranded Israelis once the airspace reopens.
According to the same report, the removal of the aircraft and crews was not only meant to help rescue stranded Israelis abroad but also as a protective measure in preparation for an Iranian retaliation, as Israel believed that Iran would strike Israeli planes with missiles.
Greece and Cyprus were reportedly unaware of the reason behind the large influx of planes arriving from Israel, but still allowed them to land, according to Israeli daily Israel Hayom.
