Releasing the Epstein files should not be a problem if Trump is not in them.
That is clear to everyone.
But if he is in them, releasing them is the most dangerous threat to his career. It means he deceived the voters. He is in office under false pretences.
Certainly, Trump is responding like a cornered, terrified beast.
Instead of releasing the files, he has started to insult, denigrate and intimidate and threaten his MAGA base, prompting a huge backlash even from Alex Jones, thereby making himself look more guilty, more illogical, more deluded in a downward spiral.

Speaking to WBT Radio in his home state, North Carolina, Mr Tillis took issue with Mr Trump’s insistence that the Epstein case is “boring” and unworthy of being examined further.
“I have to disagree with the President. I don’t think human trafficking of young teenage girls being exploited by billionaires on a private island is ‘boring’. I think it’s despicable,” he said.
“And I believe that anybody who had anything to do with it, or knowledge of it, should be held accountable. So just release the damn files.”
