STRATEGIC GAME CHANGER ISKANDER MISSILES ARRIVE IN IRAN, IRANIAN GOV SAYS IT IS READY FOR WAR BUT WOULD PREFER DIALOGUE

A game changing  Russian missile which can pierce Israel s Iron Dome missile sheld, and destroy high value targets such as protected command centres, missile dfence systems, communication centres, runways and logistics bubs, is ready for use if war breaks out, Iranian media report.

Four to twelve Iskander missiles are believed to have been transferred from Russia as tensions between Iran and Israel and the US escalate.

Iran s government has said it is ready for war but would prefer to negotiate with Trump

The high precision Iskander missiles can travel up to 500 kilometres and carry payloads of between 480 and 700 kilograms to make well aimed blows at strategic targets.

It can also carry a nuclear warhead.

The missiles would allow the annihiliation of neuralgic points in Israel s defence archtitecture within minutes of a conflict brreaking out, such as communication and radar centres, command nodes and runways,  leaving much of  the country defenceless against more waves of  Iranian hypersonic, cruise missiles and drones and paving the way for devastation.

Israeli air and missile defence systems cannot intercept them.

The US military also has no defences against the Iskander and other hypersonic missiles.

Both Israel and the US are also low on stocks of crucial missiles, further complicating any defence against ballistic missiles and drones.

US aircraft carriers are especially vulnerable.

The delivery of Iskander missiles to Iran underscores the way Iran, Russia, China and North Korea are cooperating and coordinating their activities as discussed by NATO s top commander.

The use of Iskanders may be the nail in the coffin of Israel s defences if war does break out.
