The general strike is to mark the 2nd anniversary of the Tempi train collision and demand transparency and an end to the cover up by Mitsotakis and his crony prosecutors of the cause of the death of 57 mainly young people.

The strike comes as the Mitsotakis and his corrupt prosecutors have issued a veiled threat to prosecute victims with defamation charges for exercising their free speech rights to present the evidence, facts of  corruption.

With Greece essentially now government by a lawless, criminal network in government, which will not resign, the public may feel they need to exert maximum pressure on the streets to make their voices heard and demand their rights be respected, inclduing the right to the fair administration of justice and the right to the victims of the Tempe train collision and their families to justice and compensation.
