The 39 year old pyschologist and teacher just vanished into thin air without a trace in Larisa park despite no sign of suicidal tendencies
Authorities have dredged the shallow branch of the Pineos river running through Alcazar park and found no body. There is no sign of a body anywhere in the relaitvely small park with sparse trees other than in one area.
There was no sign that he was suicidal or wanted to escape his home. He was 39 years old and living with his parents voluntarily.
He was living with his parents like so many of his generation after austerity, from 2010, cut salaries and made it almost unaffordable for young teachers to get stable jobs and set up their own homes.

Media report he had spent the summer at his parents village, like so many young people in Larisa to escape the almost tropical heat (caused by the moisture coming from the surrounding rivers and mountains with snow and extreme heat), and was enthusistic about his new teaching job.
The usual attempts to smear him as "troubled" person who wanted to escape his overbearing family does not harmonize with the facts.
To disappear for six weeks requires not just a desire but money and a network and involves hardship. Why would he take upon himself all these difficulties if he could have just said to his parents "Hey, I need a break and am going for a weekend holiday, going to quit my job, start therapy, join a monastery etc"
The attempt to explain his disapeparance was deeply religious and may have gone to a monstery on Kissovo or Mt Olympos are absurd.
I lived in the only monastery on Mt Kissovo for one and a half years and there is no way a person can live up there without being detected by the hunters and locals let alone in winter when there is heavy snow let alone for weeks at a time.
Plus, the monks and nuns are very well connected and informed of everything going on and would have heard that his parents, the police and half Larisa are looking for him and reported him.
Was he murdered by Mitsotakis to put pressure on the top prosecutor to continue to ignore the corruption of her underling in Larisa court Baikamis corruption?
Alas, if Mitsotakis did get him in his power then he is likely murdered because dead men do not talk.

Ο 39χρονος πέρασε τις γιορτές των Χριστουγέννων μαζί με τους γονείς του στο χωριό του πατέρα του, το Περιβόλι Γρεβενών. Άνθρωποι που τον είδαν και συνομίλησαν μαζί του εκείνες τις μέρες λένε στο Live News πως ήταν ιδιαίτερα ευδιάθετος και χαρούμενος για τη νέα δουλειά σε σχολείο της Καστοριάς.
Άντρες της ΕΜΑΚ με drones και θερμικές κάμερες χτενίζουν την περιοχή γύρω από τον Πηνειό για 9η ημέρα. Οι Αρχές δεν αποκλείουν το ενδεχόμενο κάποιου ατυχήματος με τις έρευνες να συνεχίζονται με αμείωτο ρυθμό δια θαλάσσης και αέρος.
«Πώς είναι δυνατόν να έχει εξαφανιστεί 2 μέτρα παλικάρι; Άνοιξε η γη και τον κατάπιε; Αυτή η γέφυρα τι κρύβει; Ακόμα ελπίζουμε. Η οικογένεια ζει ένα δράμα. Η αναμονή είναι ό,τι χειρότερο, έχουν τρελαθεί», λέει και συγκινεί στενός συγγενής.
«Είχαν έρθει ναι. Βέβαια ήταν ενθουσιασμένος. Το δέχτηκε με πολύ χαρά. Δεν πιστεύω να έκανε ζημιά στον εαυτό του ο Βασίλης. Με τίποτα. Ερχόταν στο μαγαζί να δούμε ποδόσφαιρο. Είχαμε χαρές», είπε οικογενειακός φίλος.
Πιθανόν να έχει πάει σε κάποιο μοναστήρι. Δεν μπορεί να έχει εξαφανιστεί έτσι. Ο Όλυμπος και ο Κίσαβος έχουν πολλά μικρά εκκλησάκια. Ας ψάξει ένα κλιμάκιο και σε αυτά. Μήπως το παιδί ήθελε να μονάσει; Δεν είναι κακό αυτό. Τουλάχιστον θα είναι στην ζωή. Είναι μία οικογένεια που πιστεύει πολύ και είναι κοντά στην εκκλησία», λέει στενός συγγενής του 39χρονου.
