The record debt of the US and an imminent collapse of the dollar seems to be behind Trumps ruthless attack on Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Maduro in disregard of all laws.
The US has had as its foreign policy objective for years keeping other rival countries poor and subordinate to it using naked violence in order to rob them to support the gigantic cost of keeping a private central bank which issues money as interest.
But unlike previous decades, the US no longer has the military power to wrest control of countries like Russia and China or even to stop a shadow fleet with a naval blockade.
The significance of oil tankers belonging to Russia s and China s shadow fleet being able to ignore the US naval blockade lies in the fact that it demonstrates that the US navy can be destroyed by hypersonic missiles. It has lost control of the sea and so of the ability to impose sanctions by naval blockades, as Jeffrey Sachs described.
That means, Venezuela can continue to sell oil to China for Yuan, also in digital form, accelerating the dollar collapse.

China buys 60-90% of Venezuelan oil and 85-90% of Iranian crude, together accounting for roughly 30-35% of its total oil imports.
The attack on Venezuela may be followed by an attack on Iran also in Trump and Netanyahu s crosshairs. The oil supply to China will be disrupted in the Strait of Hormuz by a war.
In what appears to be a desperate attempt to demonstrate its power using land and air assets, Trump, who is controlled by the Epstein circle, attempted the violent overthrow of the Venezuela government using what appears to be intelligence and blackmail and air forces and special forces.
There is no other explanation than blackmail and corruption of why Venezuela s air defence systems and military stood down to allow the kidnapping of Maduro.
Blackmailing people to subvert a government or organiziaton is the hallmark method of the Epstein circle.
It became such a problem in China that President Xi purged vast numbers of the military including two defence ministers.
Crucially, it was found its missiles were filled with water. That is sabotage that can only be accomplished from the inside.
From media
Beijing (AFP) – Beijing has removed top military official Miao Hua from office pending a probe into "serious violations of discipline" -- a common euphemism for corruption.
Bloomberg, citing US intelligence, reported this year that rampant corruption in the Rocket Force had led to malfunctioning equipment and even missile fuel being replaced with water.
"If true, these flaws would compromise missile operations, calling into question China's nuclear force readiness and overall capabilities," the Federation of American Scientists wrote in an open letter in response to the claims.
China s army had missiles filled with water instead of fuel in a corruption scandal that led Xi to purge the military.

We also seem to see something similar with TPUSA which was corrupted under the eyes of Charlie Kirk and participated in the preparation and cover up of his assassination, according to credible evidence.
Venezuela is just another attack on China and the creation of an alternative money and energy system outside the control of the USA.
For years, Trump, like Biden, has focussed on stopping China, now joined by Russia and the BRICS, from forming an alternative energy and money system outside of the dollar.
Trump s attack took place just after Maduro met Chinese officials to discuss how to expand the use of the Yuan in the sale of Venezuela s oil to China.
That is not a coincidence.
Trump wants to cut off China s oil from Venezuela and Iran, also threatened, in Yuan to make it rely on dollars and so more vulnerable to sanctions.
However, the most likely outcome is that China takes more oil from Russia and diversifies its energy sources away from oil.
But the stakes are now getting very high for the Soros mafia which has controlled Western governments and destroyed trust in the dollar by their failed policies, brute violence and sanctions.
The inflation, hyperinflation, now looming, spells the absolute end of the US empire and the Epstein circle and private bankers who control it. it also spells the end of nations like the UK, Israel, the core of Epstein circle, and the Ukraine which rely on the USA and the dollar to project power.
Economic decline and corruption means US no longer has the military power to wrest control of countries like Russia and China.
The Ukraine is on the verge of defeat.
From the Guardian
Russia’s battlefield gains in Ukraine last year were the highest since 2022, an analysis showed, as Kyiv prepared to host security advisers from allied states despite Moscow’s unrelenting strikes. The Russian army captured more than 5,600 square kilometres, or nearly 1%, of Ukrainian territory in 2025, according to an AFP analysis of data from the Institute for the Study of War. The land captured is more than in the previous two years combined, though far short of the more than 60,000 sq km Russia took in 2022.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/jan/03/ukraine-war-briefing-russia-makes-biggest-battleground-gains-since-first-year-of-war-analysis-shows
Lacking militry muscle, Trump and the CIA resorted to corruption.
A net work of corruption overthrew Maduro because the US knew where he was, the plans of the building he was in months in advance and his daily routine. When the Venezuelan air defence systems stood down, 150 US planes were able to fly in and pound key military, radar and communications and port installations with no resistance. They were followed by Black Hawk and Chinook helicopters which brought special op soldiers to Maduro s residence. But it again inside info that allowed the op to proceed so smoothly using relatively few US military assets and no losses.
But this is an exceptional case.
The basic fact remains that the US lacks the military power to win wars and especially air defence missiles and so does Israel, which was very hostile to Maduro.
What happens next is not clear. The US could be sucked into another Vietnam. Yet the very fact Trump has still gone ahead with the kidnapping despite not knowing the consequence is the red flag.
The inner circle of Maduro has regrouped and pledged resistance to Trump. They seem to control key ministries, state enterprises and the military. Whether they can get a grip on the corrupt networks which helped Trump kidnap Maduro is another question.
From media
Under Venezuela’s constitution, (Delcy) Rodriguez becomes acting president in Maduro’s absence and the country’s top court ordered her to assume the role late Saturday night.
But shortly after Trump’s remarks, Rodriguez appeared on state television flanked by her brother, the head of the national assembly Jorge Rodriguez, Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello and Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez and said that Maduro remained Venezuela’s only president.
...
Cabello, a former military officer and a major player in the socialist party, has influence over a meaningful fraction of the armed forces, even though Venezuela’s military has been formally run by Defense Minister Padrino for more than ten years.
Venezuela has as many as 2,000 generals and admirals, more than double the number in the United States. Senior and retired officers control food distribution, raw materials and the state oil company PDVSA, while dozens of generals sit on the boards of private firms.
Beyond contracts, military officials profit from illicit trade, defectors and current and former US investigators say.
Documents from an opposition security consultant, shared with the US military and seen by Reuters, say commanders close to Cabello and Padrino are assigned to key brigades along Venezuela’s borders and in industrial hubs.
The brigades, while tactically important, also sit on major smuggling routes.
https://kathmandupost.com/world/2026/01/04/maduro-is-out-but-his-top-allies-still-hold-power-in-venezuela
Possible outcomes include a civil war or,as seems more likely now, the formation of a new pro Maduro government in Venezuela, whose defences cannot be subverted so easily and which could re organize the military to offer significant resistance to a second wave of US attacks and especially to Americant troops on the ground.
In that case, its oil trade with China in Yuan can continue because the US navy clearly fears a direct confrontation at sea with China s hypersonic missile assets for good reason.
However, US special forces or air forces may seek to destroy Venezuela s oil fiels like Russia to deprive it of revenue.
By this act of robbery, Trump, Kuhsner,Netanyahu, who has jsut visited DC and the Epsten circle have signalled that there are no red lines to their determination to use violence to reassert their lost power to control the globe.
Cuba, Columbia, Mexico, Iran, Greenland, China and the BRICS must all now fear reckless attempts by an out of control, despotic power to destroy their governments in order to seize their wealth, their oil, their rare earth minerals and to keep the dollar the king currency every one needs to trade.
The Guardian wrote
The first direct US military attack on a South American country “signals a major shift in foreign and defence policy – one that is made explicit in the new national security strategy published by the Trump administration a few weeks ago”, said Maurício Santoro, a professor of international relations at the State University of Rio de Janeiro.
That strategy called for an “expansion” of the US military presence in the region in what it describes as a “Trump corollary” to the Monroe doctrine – the “America for Americans” foreign policy set out in 1823 by President James Monroe and later used to justify US-backed military coups in South and Central America.
...
“One might have thought that this era of naked imperialism – of the US getting the political outcomes it wants in Latin America through sheer military force – would be over in the 21st century, but clearly it is not,” he added.
Trump, whose character made up of violence, stupidity and arrogance, is either a willing tool and tyrant of Billionaires and oligarchs and private bankers like Soros and Nat Rothschild or he is blackmailed by material which has been withheld from the US public.
It is the mad dog syndrome of the Epstein rapists and Western leaders which is the problem.
The fixed idea in their mind is they must be the all powerful leaders of the globe no matter what the cost.
We are dealing with ideological fanatics.
The attack on Putin s residence, the kidnapping of Maduro show these fanatics are becoming ever more reckless, unpredictable and dangerous in their attempt to retain power.
Their goal seems to be to bully everyone into submission. They are gambles, desperate gambles.
That is why Dmirty Medwedew is surely right to say the nuclear option must now be on the table.
Clearly, communications, radar, satellites must be a number 1 priority.
The Venezuala fiasco will also alienate Trump s base ahead of the mid terms with American First commentators Valhalla VFT criticising the reckless attack when America has so many economic problems, and the average person is suffering from inflation, soaring costs.
America First is essentially an economic policy.
From media
Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is retiring from Congress next week, said on X she was “100% for strong safe secure borders and stopping narco terrorists and cartels from trafficking deadly drugs and human trafficking into America” but “if US military action and regime change in Venezuela was really about saving American lives from deadly drugs then why hasn’t the Trump admin taken action against Mexican cartels?”
Greene pointed to the Trump-issued pardon of former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernandez as an example of a contradiction of the US president’s policies, adding: “Americans’ disgust with our own government’s never ending military aggression and support of foreign wars is justified because we are forced to pay for it and both parties, Republicans and Democrats, always keep the Washington military machine funded and going.”

MEDIA ON CHINA AND VENEZUALA ROLE IN THE A NEW ENERGY AND MONEY SYSTEM
1,052 views 10 Nov 2025 #China #Venezuela #Geopolitics
🎯 THE DEAL EXPLAINED:
• China loaned Venezuela $60+ billion since 2007
• Venezuela repays in oil barrels, not dollars
• China gets guaranteed energy for decades
• US loses leverage over world's largest oil reserves
• Petrodollar system weakens further
• BRICS gains major energy supplier
📊 KEY FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
✓ Venezuela has 300 billion barrels of oil (more than Saudi Arabia)
✓ China is now Venezuela's largest creditor ($60B+)
✓ US imposed 150+ sanctions trying to control Venezuela
✓ Every oil barrel to China bypasses the US dollar
✓ This is part of China's global dedollarization strategy
✓ Saudi Arabia is watching (and joining BRICS)
✓ The petrodollar system is cracking in real-time
🇨🇳 CHINA'S STRATEGY:
While the US used sanctions and pressure, China used a different approach:
1. Loan billions when Venezuela was desperate
2. Accept repayment in oil (not dollars)
3. Build long-term energy security
4. Bypass US financial system entirely
5. Create model for other resource-rich nations
The genius? Every barrel Venezuela sends to China weakens US dollar dominance. This isn't just about Venezuela—it's about the future of global power.
• U.S. General Warns: China Prepping for 'Pe...
🇺🇸 WHAT THE US LOST:
• Access to world's largest oil reserves (right in the Western hemisphere)
• Petrodollar system leverage
• Regional influence in Latin America
• Strategic resource near US borders
• Ability to pressure China's energy security
The irony? US sanctions pushed Venezuela into China's arms. The harder America squeezed, the more attractive China's offer became.
💰 THE PETRODOLLAR CONNECTION:
For 50+ years, oil was traded in US dollars. This created massive demand for dollars globally, strengthening US economic power. But when China buys Venezuelan oil in yuan (or accepts oil as loan repayment), that system weakens.
Now multiply this by:
• Russia selling energy in rubles
• Saudi Arabia considering yuan for oil
• BRICS creating alternative payment systems
• Iran bypassing dollar sanctions
You're watching the slow-motion collapse of dollar hegemony.
🌍 THE BRICS FACTOR:
Venezuela isn't acting alone. This is part of BRICS expansion:
• Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa (original)
• Saudi Arabia, Iran, UAE, Egypt (joined/joining)
• 40+ countries expressing interest
Combined, they represent:
• 45% of world population
• 35% of global GDP
• Major oil producers and consumers
• Alternative to US-led financial system
Venezuela adds the world's largest oil reserves to this alliance.

There's a war happening that no one's
0:02
really talking about. And no, it's not
0:04
in the Middle East. Tonight, I want to
0:07
talk about going to war. Not with China,
0:10
not with Iran, but with Venezuela. For
0:13
months now, the US has been working on
0:16
something that looks a lot like regime
0:18
change in Venezuela. And this story
0:20
caught my attention because as I'm
0:22
getting older, I keep seeing the same
0:25
story told again and again. The news
0:27
tells us it's about democracy, human
0:30
rights, the war on drugs. But there is
0:33
another story about all and power, about
0:36
stopping China and Russia from
0:38
controlling what money will be in the
0:40
future. Venezuela happens to have the
0:43
biggest all reserves on Earth, even more
0:45
than Saudi Arabia. But going to war is
0:48
unpopular. So how do you sell the idea
0:51
of war to people? There are three ways
0:53
the government sells this story. First,
0:56
the drug war. Second, fighting
0:58
socialism. Third, protecting democracy.
1:02
There's always some moral angle to sell
1:04
an unpopular idea. The official story
1:07
starts with drugs. The US says Venezuela
1:10
is a hub for narot terrorism. But
1:13
according to the data, almost all
1:15
fentinyl comes from Mexico, not
1:17
Venezuela. Venezuela is maybe 10% at
1:21
most. So why Venezuela? Because if you
1:24
call it naroterrorism instead of a drug
1:27
problem, that's a pretense for war.
1:29
Narrative two, socialism failed.
1:32
Venezuela collapsed because of
1:34
corruption and bad planning, and that is
1:37
true, but the US imposed more than 150
1:41
separate sanctions on Venezuela. The
1:43
sanctions made sure they didn't have the
1:45
tools to recover. But the story was so
1:48
effective because it reinforced what
1:50
Americans already believe, capitalism is
1:53
freedom, the most powerful narrative,
1:56
democracy and freedom. And there's truth
1:59
to it. Maduro has consolidated power.
2:02
But the United States doesn't care when
2:04
it happens in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, or
2:07
Kat are their allies. It's the same
2:10
pattern Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria.
2:14
Every conflict started with a moral
2:16
premise every time. The result was
2:18
instability. So what's the real reason?
2:21
Control over resources. Keeping all out
2:24
of China's hands, Venezuela sits on the
2:27
biggest proven oil reserves in the
2:29
world, roughly 300 billion barrels. More
2:33
than Saudi Arabia, more than Iran, more
2:36
than anyone. For decades, the US relied
2:39
on the Pedro dollar system. Every barrel
2:42
traded in dollars strengthened America's
2:44
position, but China and Russia have been
2:47
building their own network to bypass the
2:50
dollar. China becomes Venezuela's
2:52
biggest creditor loaning at least $60
2:55
billion.
2:56
In return, long-term access to oil every
2:59
barrel strengthens China's energy
3:02
security and weakens US leverage. That's
3:05
why when the two presidents met
3:06
recently, she didn't even look like he
3:09
needed or wanted to be there. That's a
3:11
position of power and that's a problem
3:14
for the US. This is what we're watching.
3:16
The creation of a new energy and
3:19
monetary system that runs without the US
3:21
in the middle. Saudi Arabia joining
3:24
bricks. China signing all deals in yuan
3:27
backed by gold. Russia trading through
3:30
its own networks. Venezuela shipping oil
3:32
to China outside the dollar. The US
3:35
doesn't need troops on the ground. It
3:37
just has to cut them off. By locking
3:40
Venezuela out of global banking,
3:42
insurance companies won't touch them.
3:45
Ships avoid their ports. But here's the
3:47
irony. The harder the US squeezes, the
3:50
more Venezuela turns to China, Russia,
3:53
and Iran. That's how new alliances are
3:56
created. Every time the US pushes
3:58
someone out, that country joins the
4:01
club. All of it over time contributes to
4:04
this chart. The slow erosion of US
4:06
dollar leverage. And once you lose
4:09
control of that, you lose control of
4:11
everything. Every time something like
4:13
this happens, the story becomes an
4:15
appeal to your moral values to justify a
4:18
conflict that resets the game. It's the
4:21
same pattern again and again. I
4:23
understand it's really easy to be an
4:25
armchair critic. I can't begin to
4:28
understand what it takes to run a
4:30
superpower. Being a leader is hard. But
4:33
if I had to guess, we're going to see
4:36
more of these conflicts. My goal is just
4:38
to understand what's happening so I can
4:40
critically think for myself. And I hope
4:43
it's helped you do that, too. If I had
4:45
to guess, we're going to see more and
4:47
more of these types of conflicts whether
4:50
we declare them as wars or not. As
4:52
always, hope you have a wonderful rest
4:55
of your day. Smash the like button.
4:58
Subscribe if you haven't already. I'd
5:00
love to see you back here next week. See
5:03
you soon. Bye-bye.
