Framers in Greece are stepping up their blockades of highways, ports and border crossings in protest at the corruption of Mitsotakis and his cronies.
The farmers have vowed to bring the country to a standstill over Mitsotakis refusal to pay them all the subdsidies they need to survive.
Farmers manning blockades have also had to brave the heavy rains of Storm Byron which has been sweeping Thessaly and Greece. And which soaked me too as I was de facto hunted throughout Larisa by the Trump, Kushner tools a Smart car and a man in black in a bizarre, pathetic and reprehensible display of bulluing. This is the storm which has given me, it seems, some kind of pneuomonia. And quite a few farmers on the blockades, I suspect.

The reality in 2025 is the Greeks are being ever more impoverished and getting ever more desperate. There is a demographic collapse underway. In one or two generations, Greece may cease to exist.
Mitsotakis unpopularity offers Russia and China a huge diplomatic opportunity. Just insisting Greek prosecutors obey the law and investigate D 15 218 and E 17 449 will destroy Mitsotakis as well as Trump, Kushner, Gates, Soros, Bourla and Ursula von der Leyen.

Farmers and livestock breeders across Greece stepped up road blockades on Monday as protests spread nationwide, with unions planning new assemblies to decide their next moves. Around 20 blockades are in place, with thousands of tractors parked on highways and regional roads as farmers protest an estimated €600 million shortfall in EU subsidies and other payments, which remain frozen amid a corruption investigation into agricultural aid distribution.
In Nikaia, in the Larissa region of Thessaly, about 4,000 tractors remained lined up. Farmers planned to block local side roads on Monday and close the port of Volos on Wednesday.
