To remove 300 cubic meters of earth from a train collision site is a priori evidence of the intent to tamper with evidence.

The decision to immediately remove the earth surrounding the Tempe train collision site, which we now know almost certainly contained large amounts of a flammable liquid, xylene, was made by the right hand of Mitsotakis, his deputy PM Christos Triantopoulos, in a chaotic meeting.

Christos Triantopoulos is expected to resign today as pressure mounts on Mitsotakis over his role in hiding the existence of an illegal container of flammable liquid on the freight train which collided with the passenger train igniting a fireball which caused most of the 57 deaths.

The decision to immediately remove the incriminating earth around the collision site before it could be examined and traces of xylene found shows premeditation and prior knowlede of the presence of xylene by the right hand man of Mitsotakis.

It is not standard practise to remove earth and asphalt a crash site. It is not necessary to remove debris. The decision to remove the earth was not made as part of a standard review by experts.

There was no authority behind the decision.

It was made in an intransparent, chaotic void exploited by Triantopoulous and Mitsotakis crony in Larisa, Thessaly, Kostas Agorastos precisely to have key evidence of Mitsotakis crime removed as quickly as possible without leaving a paper trial.

To accomplish the removal, large numbers of  emergency respaonders assets, trucks and personnel were instantly deployed.

The removal of the earth is just one of a series of crimes to suppress evidence of the illegal train container and the presence of a chemical explosive, including hiding key video footage of the train for two years.

In a separate development, the candidate Mitostakis has proposed to be the next president Konstantinos Tasoula has been rejected for a third time becuase of his role in the cover up at parliamentary level.

"Given the shocking revelations taking place daily about the Tempe crime and the cover-up plan, society’s widespread distrust of Mitsotakis, Mitsotakis’ own admission that the investigative committee chaired by Tasoulas concealed the truth and the fact that in the third vote, Tasoulas did not garner wider acceptance, we call on Mitsotakis to withdraw Tasoulas as a candidate for president of the Republic,” said Sokratis Famellos, leader of opposition party, SYRIZA.

According to a report sent to the Greek Parliament by a prosecutor in the city of Larissa, about 300 cubic meters of earth, containing evidence linked to the Tempe railway disaster, were removed from the site in the days following the February 28, 2023 crash of a passenger and a freight train “without any authority providing approval.”

The crash, which resulted in 57 fatalities, took place shortly before midnight on February 28.

By 2.30 a.m. on March 1, the local Civil Protection Coordinating Body was in a full emergency meeting. According to the testimony of participants, they agreed to provide heavy machinery, including digging equipment, to the site. Two hours later, the region was asked to provide the equipment.

According to the prosecutor, “no collective decision was determined to have been taken to intervene on the site for the purpose of tampering.”

The local traffic police chief has testified that the regional governor, Kostas Agorastos, had asked him on-site, on March 3, whether the works would finish soon and asked him to take into account that railway ought to resume soon. The policeman said this was not his job.

Christos Triantopoulos, deputy minister to the prime minister, in charge of state aid and natural disaster recovery was also present at the meeting. It is against Triantopoulos, who holds the same portfolio, but within the Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Ministry, that the main opposition PASOK party, has demanded an investigation.
