Trump and Putin can make a deal over Ukraine s rare earth minerals.
Obtaining them by war is not worth it. The cost of continuing a lost war is far, far greater than the benefits of any rare earth minerals from the Ukraine especially if the Ukraine, NATO are defeated and Trump s MAGA base feels betrayed.
Trump needs to focus on the bottom line. Peace. He can give Putin more and reject NAT O troops for what is left o fthe Ukraine in return for access to the rare earth minierals as part of a deal.
Commodities obtained by peace deals are worth magnitudes more than those obtained by fantastically costly wars which could see Trump s voters desert him as he breaks a key pledge to bring peace.
More important than anything the Ukraine has to offer for US prosperity are tariffs, abolishing the IRS, Fed, energy, investment in manufacturing etc
A joint US, Russian venture could take ownership of the rate earth minerals as part of a wider trade deal.
