Renationalizing the railways may seem to be part of a classic socialist plan to boost the economy.

But it also seems to be part of a multi stage plan to loot the British tax payer. 

Railways have been  renationalized before after the private owners have run them down making minimal investments in their push for maximum profit. 

In 1947. British railways were nationalized and vast amounts of money were spent on them only for them to be handed to private business men, including Sir Richard Branson, in the 1990s under terms which allowed them to make the maximum profits for the minimum services (outside of the London commuter belt)

Once renationalized, tax payers pour billions into restoring the railways only for the railways often then to be privatized yet again and handed back to the same  clique who can start the entire scam again.
