A plan by Republicans to sue over voter registration and postal votes to have election results overturned in US states could and should succeed as a precedent in Austria in 2016 shows.

In 2016, the Austrian Supreme Court judge Gerhard Holzinger announced that a vote  run-off in which Norbert Hofer of the Freedom party (FPÖ) narrowly lost to Green-backed Alexander Van der Bellen, would have to be repeated across the whole country after an investigation revealed irregularities in the count of the vote in several constituencies.

The unprecedented ruling comes a week before Van der Bellen was due to be sworn into office. Hofer had lost out to his rival in a knife-edge election on 22 May by only 30,863 votes.

Overturning election results because of irregularities and failures is consistent with the notion that elections are vital for democracy and that irregularities could influence the election outcome and so distort and undermine democracy, according to the Austrian Supreme Court ruling in 2016.

The precedent means that a plan by an advocacy group founded by Donald Trump adviser Stephen Miller is advancing a bold legal theory: that judges can throw out election results over "failures or irregularities" by local officials is not "bold" at all, but well founded.

The Austrian Supreme Court judges established in a ruling in July 2016 that the irregularities and failures, especially in relation to the (easily manipulated) postal votes, meant that the election had to be repeated.

It was repeated in December 2016.

The judges argued

1 elections are fundamental to democracy

2 the irregularities could have had an influence on the election result

3 the 2016 election had to be repeated, which it was later that year

Note, the judges did not require the irregularities and failures to have had an influence on the election result.

It was sufficient for it to be shown that the irregularities and failures COULD have had an influence.

To win the case, it was necessary to collect concrete evidence from the various polling stations

Over the course of the investigation, it emerged that several counting centres had begun to process postal votes on the eve of the election rather than on the day after, as Austrian electoral law requires.

Interviews with more than 60 witnesses revealed that officials responsible for counting votes had often paid little regard to official guidelines, starting to count without election observers present in the room. Some election observers, in turn, signed off protocols they hadn’t read.

While the court emphasised that there was no evidence of the outcome of the election having been actively manipulated, the confirmed irregularities had affected a total of 77,926 votes that could have gone to either Hofer or Van der Bellen – enough, in theory, to change the outcome of the election.

The electronic manipulation to steal the elections on December 4th 2016 is a part of the Greek prosecutor probe cases because of a clear link to the Soros, Gates criminal syndicate and their lawyer Simos Samaras and hacking of my computer as I tried to report in real time on the result.

The illegal hacking occured just as the result was announced, stopping me from seeing the news feeds.

One day later, video emerged showing that at the precise time as I was hacked and my laptop frozen, live feed of the election result showed the election had been stolen again by switching the electronic vote over.

This is perhaps the best ever documented, clearest case of election theft by Soros, Gates and WEF elite in modern history!!!

The day after my testimony, the video from Euronews emerged showing the opposite result was actually recorded on the live feed of the Interior Ministry at the very time of the hacking and the result was flipped over.

The minute the result was flipped over, the hacking on my laptop stopped and I was able to report what turned out to be a  false result.

Media have not denied the existence of the video but spun the fact that the live feed showed the final result for Austria as a partial result despite the announcement that it was the final result.

The pieces came together when I saw the Euronews video showing the result had been flipped over and switched to give the victory to the wrong candidate.
