In a welcome move, a Republican lawmaker has started to take formal action of the conflicts of interest surrounding Judge Juan Merchan and his daughter, filling the vaccuum of legal action left by Trump s corrupted lawyers.
An ethics complaint is a good first formal step to remove Judge Merchan from the case and responsibility for sentencing, which can be reinforced by criminal charges against the judge, his daughter and likely wife.
Every single corrupted prosecutor and judge and lawyer who tried to overthrow democracy and justice in the USA by lawfare against the main political opponent ahead of the elections from Bragg to Letitia James and Merchan needs to feel the full weight of the law.
It must be made clear to other judges, prosecutors and lawyeers that corruption does not pay, let alone corruption to de facto end the democracy, elections and Constitution!!!
If the Nazi judges could be put on trial for destroying justice at Nuremberg, so can Merchan, Bragg and James!
In fact, the case against Merchan, Bragg, Blanche and co is very straightforward as they violated standard due process rules in the USA. It is a clear cut criminal case.

Most seriously, the lawyers failed to file an Appeal to move a plainly highly irregular trial to another, higher court and eventually to the Supreme Court and get the verdict overturned.
As a result, this trial has remained in the court room of a manifestly conflicted and corrupted judge whose daugther has received 468,000 dollars from Kamala Harris campaign in July 30th 2024 according to Harris own filings with the FEC!
The fact that Harris put the expenses on her campaign s FEC form shows she did not fear Trump s lawyers doing their standard job and uncovering what is plainly a bribe to the judges daughter disguised as a donation and expenses to her company.
There is no way Harris can show this sum of money was NOT a bribe given to the judge s daughter to continue with the corruption of justice to eliminate a political opponent.
Whatever expenses, the daughter of Merchan may list, they can all be interpreted as fictional book keeping entries to hide a de facto bribe from the main political opponent of Trump.
The timing and the large sum all suggest a bribe to pay for the services of Merchan.
If Merchan had been honest and proceeded according to the lawyer, it would not be possible to allege the 468 K was a bribe. But he has broken every rule aided and abetted by Trumps lawyers who have not flagged the violations and irregularities let alone filed legal action to stop them.
It is just one of the about 100 legal action swhich Republican lawmakers and the Trump family can pursue to get verdicts overturned, file appeals, file motions, file criminal charges also against the corrupted lawyers.
The Trump must signal that they will not tolerate the serious crime of the bribery and corruption of their lawyers by the Dems to enable prison sentences and the ruin of the family by taking decisive action against Blanche and Bove.
This is something Blanche and Bove should have uncovered in July because the sum seems to be listed on Kamala Harris own submission to the FEC
They must get ready now to appeal the sentencing all the way up to the Supreme Court.
