An unusually large percentage of Greeks living abroad voted by postal vote for Mitsotakis and Nea Dimokratia at 40% compared to the 28% in Greece itself.
In addition, the procedure for determining which postal votes were authentic and which were fake was chaotic,fuelling speculation in Greece of vote rigging by Mitsotakis and his backers crystallized in the Greek prosecutor probes as Soros, Gates and Von der Leyen.
